Growing up in a small town, Jess didn’t have many opportunities to get into the tech industry, so she made her own.

After graduating from University of Manitoba in Computer Science, Jess worked in the tech industry for a few years before joining the Ubisoft Winnipeg team as a Tools Programmer. Along with her day-to-day work, Jess works hard to motivate young women to enter the industry through talks and mentorships. This has naturally led her into roles with more responsibility, like her position on Ubisoft Winnipeg’s Women’s Advisory Board.

Jess continues to work to grow into a lead position, and make it easier for women to enter the industry.
